The Sesa Goa Employees Cooperative Credit Society Ltd., Sesa Colony, Desai Nagar Sankhalim - Goa. was registered in the Office of the Asstt. Registrar of Cooperative Societies on 1 st May 1986 with registration No RES-(a)22/NZ/GOA with 7 promoter members

The society was started with a view to meet the economic, social & educational aspirations of its members. The society believes in values of Self help, Self responsibility, Equality, Democracy and Mutual Faith.

The Society has achieved Good governance and a committed management with the Board of Directors has helped Society in reaching greater heights.

Objectives

Objectives of the Society:

  • To provide for social & economical betterments of its members through self help & mutual aid in accordance with the Co-operative principles.
  • To promote economic & social development of its members either by itself or in co-operation with other organizations.
  • To provide practical training or self help & co-operation to the members.
  • To encourage the habit of saving among its members by mobilizing regular monthly Thrift / Cumulative deposit, Savings, Recurring, Fixed, & other types of deposits To offer retirement benefit & death relief services to its members.
  • To offer Retirement benefit & death relief services to its members.
  • To provide financial assistance in the form of loan to needy members for all reasonable purpose on reasonable terms & conditions.
  • To act as an agent for joint purchase of the domestic & other requirement of its members on credit basis.
  • To provide education to the members, Officers and employees on the principles of co-operation to ensure healthy growth of the co-operativeTo undertake any other activities which are conductive and necessary to attain its objects.
